Roy quickly shut the door behind them, the lack of sun sure made it colder than hell. He caught up with Inu, taking in the smells. “Phew, smells good! Maybe this time I’ll get to eat without bein’ interrupted….” That breakfast on the boat was nice, for the few moments he got to enjoy it. “You lookin’ at anything in particular? Those strawberries smell nice.”

“Thanks.” He took the plate and looked at the spread. He was starving but didn’t want to seem impolite, so he took what he hoped was a normal serving and waited for Inu to finish choosing. He looked out into the hall and saw Isi! But she was sitting with a… dog? Person? And it would be rude to intrude on their conversation. Once Inu was ready he headed over to table near to Isi, maybe he could talk to them later. The sound of a struggle from the kitchen stopped Roy from whatever he was going to say. “What the hell..?” (edited)

Roy watched as Inu moved their hand over his, breath hitching. He did his best not to move, flinch, or accidentally electrocute his friend. He listened closely to their words. “…y-yeah? You’re not..” They’re not upset. He let out a shuddering sigh. He got himself stuck in his own head, Inu wasn’t going to hate him for one bad conversation. It was fine, they’re okay. “We’re… yeah. We’re not alone.” He nodded his head; the contact grounding his racing thoughts.

Isi tried to calm Roy somewhat. "oh yeah it's all fine now! Kinda! I'm rooming with Darcy, Peregrine, and maybe Titania. Darcy's great obviously and Titania was really nice up until Peregrine made her so mad she stormed out. Peregrine started harassing Darcy, so I kicked him in the shin. He couldn't walk after that, so Petrai came over to get him to the hospital" Isi shrugged at the end of her ramble. He calmed down a bit after she explained. He hadn’t met Peregrine or Titania yet, but if that Peregrine guy had pissed her off enough to make her leave then he must be a real piece of work. “Hell, by the sound of it he deserved what ya gave him. He made a face. What a creep. “Guess these church folk didn’t account for personality when they invited people, huh? I think I saw that guy bein’ escorted outta the kitchen earlier…” He did not look forward to whenever he would have to interact with him. “He sounds like an attention seeker, but if we’re here to fight and he’s already gettin’ his head handed to him he probably won’t be here long.” From the sound of it, good riddance. @sketti @cap

Isi tried to listen and understand, but was finding it difficult to get the whole story. it sounded rough. Roy stood and moved to pick up his plate, but lost his grip, a few sparks escaping his shaking hands. “Shit!” The plate clattered to the floor, thankfully not breaking. “...damn it.” He held his tongue, but the frustration was obvious in his voice. Isi started for the plate when Roy dropped it, especially when they saw the sparks.
